History Since 1986, founder Peter Murphy has led professional development workshops for teachers under the aegis of organizations such as the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, The National (and New Jersey) Council of Teachers of English, Art Educators of New Jersey and many others. Peter founded Murphy Writing Seminars, LLC in 2000 to share his
successful teaching more widely and in 2008 he formed a new
division, Inservice Solutions, to expand his increasingly
popular workshop offerings. In the Fall of 2014, Murphy Writing
and Inservice Solutions became
